Evercore Makes Top-Level Appointment In New York

Evercore Wealth Management has appointed Jill Faherty Lloyd as a managing director and financial advisor, based in New York.

In this newly-created role, Lloyd will work with investment, planning and fiduciary professionals to focus on expanding the firm's ‘Wise Women’ investor education program.

Lloyd’s appointment follows Evercore’s appointment of former Goldman Sachs senior executive John Weinberg  as chairman of its board.

"Her diverse experience in finance, business, and non-profit organizations further strengthens our educational programs in general and our Wise Women program in particular,” Jeff Maurer, chief executive, said.

The program focuses on the unique opportunities and challenges surrounding women’s wealth management, and aims to engage, educates and support women, enabling them to make informed decisions for themselves and their families.

Lloyd’s LinkedIn profile says she is experienced in strategic management and expansion. Her track record includes work as an institutional equities salesperson at Credit Lyonnais Securities USA and at Bear Stearns & Co. She has also held financial analyst roles at Iridian Asset Management and Red Coat Capital Management, whilst at a more executive level, she has built an interior design business and has served as the president of the board at Connecticut non-profit ASAP!.
